Free Time

Between water polo training, chemistry competitions, research in the lab, internships, volunteering and preparing for the International Baccalaureate exams, I don't have a lot of free time.

But I think it's important to have fun and decompress.

Here is how I like to relax.

  • Play basketball with friends and my brothers

  • Grab lunch or dinner with team members (of my water polo teams or my academic work teams)

  • Cook. My favorite dishes to make are:

    • Asian noodles with scallions and a kick

    • Beef Wellington

    • Deep Dish (Chicago-style) Pizza

    • Macaroni and cheese (of course from scratch!)

    • Quesadillas

    • Chicken, Ham & Potato Croquettes

    • Fettuccini Alfredo

    • Pasta Carbonara

    • Desserts (Apple Pie, Lemon Squares, Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookies...)

  • Play the piano

  • Volunteer at the soup kitchen

  • Teach kids in a refugee camp (they are war refugees from Myanmar) English

  • Call my grandparents

  • Watch the Golden State Warriors play

  • Watch TV

  • Go the movies

  • Read for fun

  • Practice my Spanish and American Sign Language

  • Catch up on current events

  • Go to the rock climbing wall

  • Play with my five year old brother

  • Go for a run, swim or bike ride
